More married men commit suicide than married women
Statistics related to crimes in the country are released by the National Crime Records Bureau i.e. NCRB. According to the data collected in the last few years, in the NCRB report for the year 2021, it has been told whether married men or married women have recorded higher numbers of suicides. According to the report released by NCRB in the year 2021, 81,063 married men committed suicide.

So the number of married women during this period was 28,680. According to statistics, there are more married men than married women. Statistics of last 5 years will surprise you
If we talk about the figures of the last 5 years released by NCRB, they are quite surprising. We show you the figures from the year 2018 to the year 2022. In which year how many men committed suicide and how many women committed suicide there? A total of 1,34,516 cases of suicide were reported in the year 2018. In which the number of women was 42,391. So the number of men was 92,114. Talking about the year 2019, a total of 1,39,123 cases of suicide were registered.
Of which 41,493 were women. So those were 97,613 men. If we talk about the year 2020, the total cases were 1,53,052. Of which 44,498 were women. So there were 1,08,532 men. The total cases in the year 2021 were 1,64,033. Of which women were 45,026 and men were 1,18,979. The total cases in the year 2022 were 1,70,924. Of which women were 48,172 and men were 1,22,724. That means 2.44 men committed suicide compared to 1 woman.
